When Leigh went to meet Mrs F Lloyd after he was recommended to her he was following on from previous advisors who had either been unable or were un-willing to spend the time required to assist his client.

Having lived in her Flat for over 20+ years she really didn’t want to leave now that her interest only mortgage had expired and the bank was asking for it to be repaid. She also had very little money for living expenses due to her current mortgage payment.

The reason other brokers had struggled was that the lease had run down leaving not enough years remaining for lenders to be able to lend on her property and the total amount then required for borrowing was over lending limits.

Leigh helped the client negotiate with the landlord and working with the lenders to find the best solution Mrs Lloyd was able to renew her lease term, repay her existing lender and remain in her property for the rest of her life and now with increased disposable income thanks to not having to make a monthly mortgage payment.
